| Comments: | I am very happy to see this website. By birth, I am a Brahman, but I am against social discrimination of any kind. Once, I was studying a Tarai dalit called Dom in Itahari Municipality, the people did not responded me first.They did not tell me the location of a Dom community. When I went to the community, the people were very happy. I had to ask them several questions about their sanitation and worried a lot whether they would answer them. One of the informant said, "It is the first time a high caste man is sitting with me with a sympathetic attitude. Do not worry sir! We will provide you all the information you need." I was happy then. Now, I am thinking [sincerely] about the institutional drawbacks of Nepali society. I want to join hand with all the brothers who are involved in antidiscrimination campaign. |
